Bodie is 3 1/2

Bodie is 3 1/2! He's such a big boy now and as much as he's all boy he's also a really sweet kid. He cares for the people he loves and loves to make other people happy. He's aware of other people's feelings and will be the first to help someone who is hurt or sad. He's very social like his sister, he loves to hang out with friends and make new friends. He can definitely throw a good fit every once in awhile or do some whining, but thankfully it ends quickly and he's more interested in saying sorry and being done with it than carrying it on (99% of the time). When he's really mad we just let him be for a minute and then he'll come back happier ;-). Here are some other little fun facts about our Bodie...

-He loves to read books and likes trying to read Kayla's learn to read books with her (he does really well and has a lot of them memorized)
-He likes to count to 10 and is working on his numbers above that (we count on the way to school)
-He knows his ABCs and loves to sing them in the car or sing them with me at bedtime
-His favorite colors are blue, green and red...he knows all his colors now too
-He tells us "I love you" and "You are pretty" all the time
-Todd calls him "son" just like his dad does to him
-He likes to dance and loves to show us how he can do his sit ups
-He loves to wrestle with Todd and cuddle with me
-He's a great brother to Kayla...he shares so well with her, takes care of her if she's feeling down and loves to play house with her.
-His favorite bed time songs are "Twinkle Little Star,You are my Sunshine, ABCs, Frozen snowman song"
-His favorite books are "Dinosaur books, Peter Pan, 3 Little pigs and his truck books
-He loves to help say prayers at dinner time
-His best neighbor friends are Max and Lucy
-He's 34 pounds and  39 inches
-He sleeps with his "baby"(zebra), baby monkey and "pillow"(small blanket) every night. He also likes his penguin light to be on
-His favorite shows are "Super Why, Umizumi and Dora".
-He drinks a cup of choclate milk every morning
-His favorite foods are (but definitely not limited to as he will eat almost anything): fruit, chocolate, waffles, soup, granola bars, chicken nuggets, orange juice (he only gets this at Gigi's house), peanut butter, tomato, avacado, apple
-He loves to help Todd with projects around the house and loves using tools
-He always says "Excuse me, let me tell you something..." and then will go into a LONG story
-He is VERY good about saying "please" and "thank you"
-He loves to roar or do his baby puma growl
-He's into Batman, Superman and Iron Man (although he's never seen any of these movies)
-He likes to wear his flip flops on the wrong feet
-He says "my" instead of "I"...ie "My going to do it"
-He loves to have "secrets" with people, but can't help but tell them :-)
-He loves to brush and floss his teeth
-He loves to play outside, go on walks, swim and go to the zoo or park
-He likes to ski and is getting better and better
-He still has really bad excema, but doesn't get sick very often
-He can peddle/ride his bike on his own
-He likes to play soccer with Todd
-He moves...a lot...can't sit still for too long, but tries and does really well at church
- He likes to color on the easle, play with playdough and paint
- He likes to use "his chapstick" and loves mints
- He never lets me leave the house without a hug and a kiss
-He calls McKayla "DeeDee"
-Sometimes he'll sneak into bed with us and it's so funny and cute we can't help but let him stay (
To say we are proud of Bodie and the boy he has become is an understatement. He has grown so much and has become so independent. It's so much fun to watch his new accomplishments and the pride in his eyes. I always call him "my little buddy" and I just love spending time with him. He is so kissable and I couldn't even count how many kisses I give him or he gives me each day (all I have to do is pucker my lips and he'll stop whatever he's doing to give me a smooch).
