McKayla still LOVES to dance and sing and he newest love is gymnastics. She loves to practice her cartwheels, splits and handstands. She still loves to do her picture poses too. She loves to learn and is excited about learning how to read this year (she also loves teaching Bodie is alphabet and numbers). She is using learn to read books and is doing a great job at sounding out words. She can coun to 100 as well. Her love of drawing has continued and it's rare the day she doesn't color something. She really likes drawing flowers and stick figures of her with someone else. She likes writing out everyone's names too. She is 43.5lbs and 44 inches. She just started Sunday school and is loving it...it's cute to hear her singing her little songs after SS and church. She just lost her 1st tooth and has two more that are loose. She's a little nervous for Kindergarten, but is also really excited.

Food: chicken salad, chicken nuggets, watermelon, turkey or ham sandwich w/ cheese, carrots, peas, broccoli
Songs: Beauty and the Beast, Let it go
Color: Pink and purple
Outside activity: scooter, bike, sidewalk chalk, driving her car around the block, playing w/ neighbors
Indoor Activity: Coloring, playing with her doll house, playing at her vanity table
Chores: Cooking, help with dishes, vacuuming (she gets a dollar each week and loves saving her $)
Accessories: Purse, lipgloss, bracelets, rings, necklaces, earrings
Neighbor friends: Eliza, Georgia, Zoey
School Friends: Olivia, Audrey, Kim
Sleeping things: Tanlged, bunny, ducky (she and Bodie switch this one off), Elsa
Randoms: She loves to pick out her own outfits and loves wearing dresses and bows. She is doing great on her bike and can ride it around and stop really well. She made a huge turn in skiing the last time we went up and now is enjoying it even more since she knows she can get down the mountain herself. She likes doing homework with me every night and loves to accomplish something new. She likes to say prayer before dinner or bed and switches off with Bodie. She's still great about brushing/flossing her teeth. She has a lot more "emotion" and "passion" in what she does and think now...most the time this is good...other times we can't figure out why the world is ending when we ask just a simple question ;-)
McKayla is such a wonderful daughter and we thank the Lord every day for having her in our life. She is sweet, energetic. kind and funny. She's a big help around the house and such a wonderful big sis to Bodie. We love our Kayla Bear so very much! She is going to be going through some big life steps this year and although it's sometimes hard to let her grow up, it's also very satifying to watch her become her own little person.
