Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving. The best part was that Todd had the day off...he has been working sooo much recently (I'm talking 14 hour days practically every day of the week). We headed over to my parents and relaxed there all day while helping getting ready for dinner. Todd, my mom and brother took the dogs out for a walk and McKayla and I took a nap (she doesn't fall asleep in my arms during the day really any more so I totally took advantage and let her take her nap in my arms...LOVED IT!). Dinner was really nice (thanks Dad and Mom) and we had Jacquelyn's fiancees family with us as well. McKayla looooved the fresh salmon appetizer that we brought from Market Street (this girl already has a sophisticated palette due to Daddy's work) and she also enjoyed all the traditinal food. It was fun watching her be able to dig in this year! We are so thankful for our family, friends and wonder life we have been given!!

A girl and her animals

McKayla loves her animals sooo much and they love her right back!

I found her in her room like this w/ Sadie (she had even shut the door behind her)
Cuddling and looking out the window with Beamer

Woohoo

We have a ponytail...that's right folks, for the past two weeks I have been able to get McKayla's hair into the cutest LITTLE ponytail and I LOVE it!!! (Click on the pics to make them bigger)

Halloween

McKayla had a great Halloween! She went Trick or Treating at my Dad's office and my office on Friday. She got sooo much candy and some fun goodies. She also had a blast dancing to the spooky music at my work...she just went right in front of the boombox and started rockin out. On Saturday we went to my parents house so she could trick or treat there and then my mom and I took her to a pumpkin patch to play around for a minute. When Todd got home from work we went out Trick or Treating to a couple houses with my mom, Jacquelyn and Nick. Kayla was so cute and she definitely got the hang of it...she would walk right up (sometimes into) the house and say "hiya" and go for the candy. One neighbors parents even took a couple pictures of her cause they thought she was so cute! We had a couple friends over that night and enjoyed the Ute game. Kayla didn't get to eat any of the candy, but she did get a magnadoodle drawwing board, some goldfish crackers, stickers and a few other fun things. She didn't mind being in her costumes either (she was a unicorn and a ladybug)...we really had a lot of fun! Oh yeah, we had a fabulous time dancing in the living room to the Monster Mash too...McKayla loves to sing and dance :-)
