30th Bday Celebration

Todd put together and AWESOME birthday celebration for my 30th. He threw me a private party at the Oyster Bar and invited 25 of myfriends and family. He provided appetizers and desserts for everyone and offered discounted drinks. My mom and sis decorated the area we were in and everyone dressed up in cocktail attire. The kids were able to join us which was really fun too. I had a fabulous time eating yummy food, sipping on bling blings and talking with my friends and fam. Todd had a cake brought out to me and everyone sang "Happy Birthday"...I definitely got red in the face :-). Everyone was MORE than kind with their gifts which included a beautiful bracelet from Todd, Tiffany necklace from my besties, Kura Door day spa cert.,Coach store gift cert., firepit, coffee maker, stemless champagne glasses and more. Todd and the kids took off early with my parents (Todd was in pain and both the kids had had the flu a couple days before so they were tired) while I was able to go to 3 more places with my friends and sis...one of which we got to dance a little :-). I couldn't have asked for a better party...the night was magical, my husband is amazing and I love my family and friends soooo much! Cheers to 30!!

It happened

The call I fear every time Todd goes dirt biking came on Monday afternoon. He said "don't be mad, I broke my clavicle...which hospital should I go to?". I asked if he was kidding me and when he said "no" my heart sank. I met him up at the U hospital only to find out he has a broken & displaced clavicle, factured rib, fractured scapula, sprained wrist and partially collapsed lung. Although he is in a lot of pain and it will take 6 weeks to heal we are incredibly grateful is wasn't worse and he is home with us. The thing they are most worried about is his lung, but we will go see someone for that tomorrow and he'll go to the orthopedic surgeon on Tuesday to check everything else. No more 90 ft jumps for my man!!!

Vegas Baby!

One of my good friends is getting married in August so some of the girls and I decided to take her to Vegas. I had such a blast and honestly can't remember when my last girl's trip was. It was so much fun dancing the night away and laying by the pool all day :-). Can't wait for her fabulous wedding!!!

Mothers Day

There is no greater joy in the world than being a mother! Hearing the "mommy", "I love you", feeling the kisses, cuddles and hugs and knowing such unconditional love! I'm incredibly grateful to being McKayla and Bodie's mom and to share my life with them and Todd. They bring me such joy and I'm so proud of them every day. This year they took me to the Tulip festival and gave me beautiful flowers, a pedicure and a card. I also got a yummy dinner, sleep, and time with the fam

Mom's Graduation

My mom decided 2 years ago to go back to college and get another degree..in medical assistaning this time. We are so proud of her and the hard work she put in to do something she is passionate about!

Bodie- 7 months

OK, Bodie is seriously the happiest and most content baby! He is constantly smiling and is happy playing on his own or with us (although he gets a lot more excited when someone is playing with him). He is sitting up really well and has started trying to crawl...we think it'll be a while longer though. He is into absolutely everything he can get his hands on and he can hold his own bottle. He loves his solid foods and thankfully we haven't found one yet that he won't eat. He is 17.5 pounds and growing like a weed every day (no wonder with how much he eats!). He still absolutely adores McKayla and they have so much fun playing and laughing together. He definitely wants to do anything she's doing! He's still sleeping through the night, but he is getting up around 6am which is a little rough on mom and dad. He can still push out that bottom lip like nobody else when he's sad or mad and it's the dang cutest thing I've ever seen. We love our Bodie man soooo much and feel very lucky to have him in our lives!!
