This week...

McKayla loves riding with TJ

So lucky to have these little Leprechauns to spend St. Patty's Day with

Kayla won't let me color the food green, so we did green sprinkles and gold treats

Kindergarten Program

McKayla had her big Kindergarten program last week and it was really special to be a part of it. It was a chance for parents to get a first-hand experience on what their child has learned in school so far. I was very proud watching her and, of course, I got teary eyed. Then I had to get up and do the chicken dance with her...that cured the tears ;-). McKayla has really enjoyed school thus far and she absolutely loves her teachers and school friends....we couldn't have asked for a better place for her to start her (hopefully) life long love of learning.

Disney on Ice

Todd and I surprised the kids with Disney on Ice tickets and dinner afterward with our friends. They were SO excited and really enjoyed themselves at the show and dinner. Not sure how into the show TJ was, but he sure did enjoy watching the kids and sharing in their excitement.
Kayla went to the salon in the morning and got her hair done (she always requests "just a trim")

A little surprise in the rmorning

Sleeping Beauty and Jake ready for the show

Awe and excitement

Thumbs up for a fun family night

First week of March...

As I set the breakfast table I looked over and saw this...

They really are best friends

GiGi and Kayla gave Bodie a unicorn hairdo

I had super heros for lunch companions
When Bodie first sang this song in the car I had no idea where it had come from and it made me laugh so hard...now I just ask him to do it b/c I love it so much (apparently it's from the Lego movie)
This one is of the kids doing the song together

Utah Powder

We took the kids skiing last weekend and we had the best time yet. We took the kids up on some more advanced runs (Kayla had been up one once and this was Bodie's 1st time). The scene up there was magical...so quite, beautiful and serene. When we got off the lift we landed in the wonderful powder that Utah is so well known for. We literally stopped for a minute and let the kids just take it all in. The kids did such a great job getting down and we of course ended with ice cream on the deck :-)
Todd and Kayla heading up the lift

Ready for some bigger runs

Ready to head down a new run...thumbs up

They love riding the bus back to the lodge

Ice cream in the snow storm...our tradition
