Disney on Ice

I took McKayla to Disney on Ice for our first time and it was so much fun! She was really excited the whole way there and when we got there she was just looking around in amazement. She danced, laughed, screeched, got a little restless (this was right before intermission so we went out and got her some food and a slushy in a tinkerbell cup...that solved it) and had a great time. We went with one of my best friends and her daughter and it was fun to have a special mommy/daughter date :-). I must admit...I had tears in my eyes at some points just watching how much she loved it ;-). She said she especially liked Minnie, Goofy, Cinderella and Mickey! When I asked her who her favorite was as we walked back to the car she said "McKayla Johnson"...I smiled and said "Me too love, me too" :-)

Bodie- 5 Months

Bodie is 5 months!!! He loves to eat, rice cereal and bottle, he sleeps from 8pm-5:30am...has a bottle and then goes back to sleep for another 2 or so hours. He drools all the time from the 2 front teeth that are still trying to get all the way in. He loves to bat at his toys and put everything in his mouth. His feet are a favorite play toy and he's really getting into music or someone singing to him. He's the smiliest little guy and just loves to play and have your attention. He can hold his head up high and for a good amount on time when on his belly and he still likes to sleep on his left side every night. He can entertain himself on his playmat or in his bouncer for a significant amount of time (this helps so much when we're trying to cook or get ready). I absolutely love to kiss those chubby little cheeks, cuddle with him and watch him reach for and play with McKayla. I love, love, love our Bodie sooooooo much!!!!!
