Wedding Weekend

Todd and I went to his fraternity bother's wedding this past weekend in Northern Cal. The weather was great and it was really fun to catch up with old friends. We decided to get a fun car for the drive, were able to hang out by the pool, slept in and I got a little shopping in. The wedding was very pretty and we danced our booties off that night :-). One of the best parts was actually spending some time with my hubby and enjoying each other's company!

Enjoying the weather

HELLO BEAUTIFUL weather!!! I came back from San Francisco (work trip) to the most wonderful weather :-). The kiddos and I enjoyed it as much as we could yesterday...playing, bike riding, evening walk, yard work, picnic outside for dinner. We ended the evening with a fun bath (to get rid of ALL the dirt), snuggles and reading.

Disney on Ice

McKayla and I got a fabulous date last Sunday (thanks to Todd who stayed home with Bodie since he got the flu AGAIN...oh yeah, Kayla got it AGAIN too!!). We met some of our best friends for Disney on Ice Princesses. We had such a fun time, great seats and it was very nice to get out of the house in the pretty weather.

Unfortunately, Bodie ended up getting the flu too :-(. I have been cleaning like crazy, doing TONS of laundry, hoping, praying and drinking anything I think might help (hello not so yummy apple cider vinegar) in hopes of me and Todd not catching it!

Good/Bad Weekend

The weekend started off great and we had some fun plans. On Saturday, we had a full day with dance, swim, errands and more. The kids had their first swim lesson of the year (Bodie's first ever) and they both really loved it. We had lunch with Paka and Gigi while Bodie's sticky fingers undid all the cleaning they had just done (sorry Mom!) and McKayla did LOTS of coloring (love that sites have so many fun free print offs for the kids). Sunday, we were supposed to go to Snowbird for McKayla's first ski and some fun at the pool, but poor Kayla started throwing up at 3:30 in the morning and it lasted all day :-(. It stunk that Todd actually got a day off and we couldn't do much, but he and Bodie got some time outside with him and we had A LOT of time around the house together (now just HOPING and PRAYING the rest of us don't get it). Monday McKayla was feeling better so Todd helped her count up all her allowance money that she's been saving and they headed over to Toys R Us for a special shopping trip. This is the first time she's used her money and we were SO proud when she told Todd that she didn't wanted to use ALL of it, but wanted to save some too (smart girl!). Monday night McKayla and I went for pedicures with my sister (SO FUN and SO RELAXING). A BIG THANK YOU to Todd for paying for all of us :-).
