Wedding Weekend
My sister is officially MARRIED!!! We had such a great weekend celebrating with friends and family and the wedding was beautiful :-). We are so proud of Jacquelyn and Nick and know that they will have a happy and everloving marraige!! Here are some pictures from Friday night and the rehearsal/rehearsal dinner on Saturday. The weather ended up being great and somehow we avoided the rain :-)

Turning 2 ALREADY?!
Can it really be that our baby is turing 2 in just a week?! It seems like just yesterday we held her for the first time and looked into those beautiful blue eyes. She has come so incredbily far in 2 years...she's grown faster than we ever knew she would. She's in a big girl bed, talking in sentences, copying EVERYTHING we do, potty training...and the list goes on. How about a little look back...

Goodbye Broiler, Hello Downtown Grill
Well, apparently Todd and I should have babies more often (like these 2 weren't close enough) because everytime we're about to have a baby, Todd gets a phone call from work. He has been promoted again and will now be the General Manager of the Market Street Grill and Oyster Bar in downtown SLC. Once again, it will be hard work and different hours, but the raise certainly couldn't come at a better time and Todd really deserves this...he has worked so incredibly hard to get the Broiler where it is today compared to 2 years ago and it's so nice that the owners have noticed. I'm really proud of him and can't wait to see him in action downtown. Feel free to stop by and have breakfast, lunch or dinner (brunch on Sunday's too) and say hello to him :-). Although the restaurant business is one of the craziest you can get into I must say we are so grateful for the way Gastronomy has taken care of us through the years!
Flu, AGAIN!
I can't even say anything anymore...I just started crying this time. I'm so frustrated and confused as to why McKayla and I keep getting it :-(. NO MORE PLEEEEEEEASE!!!!

Sooo tired!
It is crunch time at work so I'm working at least 10 hours a day, 5 days/week and I'm walking into walls a lot, my vision is constantly blurry, somehow I forgot to pay 3 utility bills last month...and I have 8 weeks left! For all I know they are going to find me face down past out one of these days :-0. Other than the fatigue it's only been minor complaints...feeling sick more often, aches/pains...but nothing too serious :-). The nesting has definitely gone into full effect as well and I predict this little guys room will be close to done soon.

Bachelor/Bachelorette Party
My little sis is getting married next week!!!! We did a joint party for them on Saturday to celebrate one more time before the big day. We headed up to Park City for a casual BBQ and then went to Main Street to hit some bars. Jacquelyn and Nick had a great time as did the rest of us and it was pretty funny to see 3 of us preggo ladies dancing it up :-). We are so happy for them and everyone is soooo excited for the wedding!

Big girl bed
We changed McKayla's crib into a big girl bed (toddler) Sunday afternoon and she slept in it for the 1st time Sunday night. She thought it was totally fun when Todd was reassembling the bed and she jumped right on when it was done and brought all of her stuffed animals up with her. She stayed in bed all night and only fussed a few times trying to figure out how to lay there (she's used to flopping around her crib). When she woke up this morning Todd said she got right up, grabbed the phone and came in to him. We're crossing our fingers that this will be a smooth transition ;-). We won't know how nap time goes until this weekend since she'll nap at daycare all week...

Todd's wild ride
Being the nice wife I am, McKayla and I went to the bike track twice this weekend to watch Todd ride. I can't even tell you how many prayers I say while he's out there (expecially after seeing a guy who just crashed right as we pulled up). The look on his face and joy in his voice makes all the worry worth it though...he loves it so much and it's a great release for him (he was really excited to land the 70 ft. jump this time).
