Todd and the kids met me after work Monday night so we could have dinner and see the lights at CityCreek. The lights were beautiful as always and dinner at Cheesecake was yummy (suprisngly quick too!). We decided to have the kids go see Santa since it was such a nice setting and there wasn't much of a line. When we got into the "latern" were Santa was Bodie ran right up to him and jumped in his lap...followed by McKayla. They were a little quiet when talking with Santa (Bodie said cars and McKayla asked for a car and doll), but they were happy. That is until we went to take the picture...they just looked at the photographer with her crazy bird puppet like she was nuts...and that's the look we got for the picture. Oh well, they still had a great time and McKayla was so intrigued by the whole event. She asked me on the way out if that was really the "real" Santa and she was very excited to tell her school friends all about it.
