Bodie's Baptism

Bodie's baptism was really wonderful and special. We started the day by attending mass at my parent's church and then friends and family met us for the baptism ceremony. It was special having it in the same church where we were married and McKayla was baptized. After the ceremony we went to my parent's house for brunch. Bodie was calm through the first part of the ceremony, but about half way through he had had enough and was ready to eat. We made it through though :-). I'm so proud of our little man and so excited to help him start his path of building his knowledge of and faith in the Lord.

Cousins

We went to Todd's sister's house in Logan for dinner and to let the girls play together. McKayla loves her cousin Laelia so much and they play really well together :-)

McKayla's hair is finally coming in enough that I can do some fun things with it now :-). I love playing around with it and she actually likes having it done :-)

Bodie is 3 months!!!

My how time flies! Our little man is 3 months and growing like a weed. He's a little over 12 1/2 pounds and moving into 3-6 month clothes, can hold his head up really well, loves to grab onto us and his toys, eats ALL the time...still nursing and getting formula too, will take a binkie sometimes, coos a lot more and you can tell he's trying to laugh and talk more, smiles all the time and loves to play with his jingle toy and ball w/ a rattle in it. He's started going to bed around 9ish and this week he even slept 7 hours one night and 9 another (this is a huge improvement from 4 hours!). We tried having him sleep in his pack-n-play last week, but he's very unsettled most of the night so we went back to his swing this week. He sleeps really well in the car too. He cracks us up with his sad face that he does so well and his huge smiles. He still has the reflux, but with the medicine and time it seems to be getting better. He's all boy when it comes to the "gas" factor and can stink up an entire room! Some of the names he goes by are...Bode, little man, wee man, stinkyman, monkey, Bodester and Bodie man. McKayla still loves him and loves to help with him...I can't wait to see when they really start to play together :-). We love our Bodie man and he has definitely brought something special to our family!!

New Years

Todd worked on New Years Eve so we decided to celebrate the night before as a family. We had a fun night at home dancing and sipping champagne. We had a tough, but great year in 2010 and we look forward to all that 2011 has to offer. We can't wait for the family trips that we have planned, me turning 30!, Bodie's 1st birthday and so much more.
