Goodbye Galant

We sold my wonderful Galant. I actually had tears in my eyes when I drove her for the last time. You see, she was my first "big girl" car. I found her by myself and bought her by myself. I was so proud the day I bought her! I even drove her to Todd's work at 2am when he got off so he could see her and then drove by his apartment with him and honked to show his roomates. I know it's just a car and she wasn't something fancy, but she was a great car. We got a steal from my parents...bless them for their generosity...and that's the only reason we sold her. It just so happens we randomly sold her to an old recruit of mine that saw it on KSL (that was too funny when we saw each other and realized the connection). At least I know she went to a good home and will be taken care of. Speaking of homes...I'm never going to be able to sell our house if it was this hard to sell my car!

Tea with Santa at Grand America

My mom took my sis, me and the kids to the Grand America on Saturday for the Tea with Santa Claus. McKayla's face was priceless when Santa came in (and of course I didn't get a picture of it). Even the lady next to us came up and said something about it to me at the end. It was a lot of fun and Santa and the Mrs. were so sweet to the kids. Santa told McKayla several times that he loved her and Mrs. Claus told her she liked her glasses...this made McKayla VERY happy.
