Happy Birthday Todd

We helped Todd celebrate his birthday this year over span of a few days...there was swimming, a bbq, surprise balloons at Snowbird, a family dinner, special breakfast and lots of cards/hugs/kisses. McKayla and Bodie even got super dressed up in their fancy clothes for his family birthday dinner b/c they said it was a very special night ;-). The kids and I got him a GoPro so I'm sure we'll be getting some awesome video up soon ;-). We love our TJ/Daddy very much and appreciate how hard he works to give us a wonderful life!!

Football with Snowbird

Some of Todd's work friends set up a family football game on Superbowl Sunday since it was so nice outside. We had such a fun time and Bodie has been obsessed with football ever since. Both of the kids made a touchdown(Kayla's might have been on the wrong side, but they still let it count ;-) ) and loved meeting the other kids and running around. It was such a fun family activity and we are looking forward to more games in the future.

Daddy/Daughter Dance

Todd and McKayla had their first Daddy/Daughter dance this month and they both had the time of their life! McKayla was so excited and even nervous the days leading up to the special night. She woke up early that morning and got her whole outfit laid out and ready (dress,tights,shoes,bow,earrings, jewelry, purse, coat...the works). She even helped Todd pick out his outfit. They had so much fun that night dancing, making crafts, taking pictures and ending the evening with a run to the yogurt shop. I LOVE the relationship they have and I hope she realizes when she's older that they way Todd treats her is how the man she marries should treat her...with respect, honesty, love and gentle ways. He brought her flowers, helped her with her coat and opened doors for her...this is how a real man treats a young lady ;-)

BTW- Bodie and I had a little mini date at my girlfriends house too...he loved it :-)
