Todd's Flying Adventure

Todd's parents came into town so he and his Dad decided to go for glider rides. Todd went first and unfortunately, the weather got bad as he was up there so his dad wasn't able to go (he's done it before though and we're hoping we can see him do it later this week). Todd got a little training and then off he went for a 30 minute ride...the funniest part is that I had no anxiety or fear about it (this is pretty amazing if you know me and what I think about flying...let alone going up without an engine). His glider was hooked up to a small plan by a rope and it took him up until he was able to pull the rope and glide down using only the air as his means of staying up. His "co-pilot" allowed him to fly a little bit and then he did some tricks with Todd. Todd had the time of his life and was able to check off another item from his bucket list. While he was up where we couldn't see him the guys down with us were nice enough to take us over to the museum to see the old fighter planes. It was a really neat experience and I'm so glad we got to be there with him!
