Merry Christmas

2014 was one heck of a year! We've definitely never been so busy, but I think we got it all done and made it out without any major catastrophes...here are some highlights...

-Todd is doing what he's know for and blowing the restaurants previous numbers away
-With any spare time Todd has, he's been taking the kids on adventures (bike riding, hikes, camping, boating, ect.)
-Todd got a new baby this year and now how 2 motorized loves (dirt bike and a street bike)
-He's also been able to get some of the first runs at Snowbird this year
-I have been busy holding down the fort at work half of this year while my boss has been out on maternity leave.
-I've never had my head spin the way it has for the past 6 months, but I've learned a lot, accomplished a lot and was blessed with a promotion.
-I'm very much looking forward to taking some time off and focusing on the family during the holidays.
-I've been delighted to be a "kindergarten mom" this year. I love, love watching McKayla with all her new friends and love hearing about all she's learning!
-McKayla started Kindergarten this year and she is loving it.
-She has made some really great friends (Sophie is her best friend and pretty much soul mate) and she loves her teacher, Mrs. Hillyard (as do we).
-She really enjoys learning, reading, coloring/drawing, singing, dancing and gymnastics.
-She was moved up a level in gymnastics this year and was so nervous/excited to be with the older girls, but has now settled in and is learning new skills
-Bodie started pre-preschool this year and loves being with the older kids. He also learned to ride his bike on two wheels this year and loves being able to ride w/ Kayla now
-He is ALL BOY...running, jumping, roaring, sword fighting and more.
-The amount of energy he has is unreal and we've literally had to make him start running each day to try and wear him down.
-He's a fun loving, high energy boy and will still give me my cuddles at the end of the day or a kiss whenever we ask (he knows how to butter us up!).
-Beamer and Sadie are still the fur loves in our home.
-Although she won't ever be the same, Sadie is doing better from her surgeries and can go on small walks and hikes.
-Beamer is still running the neighborhood and catching all the mice for everyone.
-As a family we got to take a few fun trips this year including one big trip to Florida and California a few times. We've learned that staying on the beach rather than close by is our favorite...we are truly all beach babies at heart (Bodie asks about San Diego at least 4 times a week...for a good 6 months it was every single day)

We have had our fair share of trials this year...some small and some serious, but we've also been blessed in many ways and are looking at this year as one of growth and strength. We've learned a lot about ourselves and have recognized once again how incredbily important faith, family and true friends are....we could never thank those close to us enough for all the support and love. We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and we wish you all many blessings and joy in the New Year.
Love to all!!!
