Santa, Dinner and Lights

On Monday, Todd and the kids met me at City Creek for a familyholiday night. We went to see Santa and the kids couldn't have been more exicted. McKayla got a dressed up complete with makeup (pretend), jewlery, a scarf and perfume and Bodie ran and jumped in Santa's lap before I could even get everyone's coats off. They had a fun couple minutes with Santa and were super excited to tell him what they are hoping for. After that, we went to the Disney store to let the kids play around for a minute while we waited for my family to meet up with us. From there we went to one of my favorite restaurants downtown and then went over to see the lights. On the way, we got SUPER cold so we stopped in my work to look at the lights from above (we have the best view from our office). On the way home, we drove around and looked at Christmas lights. It was such a perfect evening and something we definitely needed. We have done this for a few years now and it was especially fun to have my parents and sister with us this year.
