Life Lately...

I love that the kid's daycare sends us pics of them throughout the day
Kayla's in the back...they are doing exercise time
B had a ski day with Dad
I noticed the kid's rooms were glowing one morning from the sunrise (this is the view from B's room)

Cold mornings call for hot cocoa

And yummy family breakfasts

Gigi and Uncle Scotty built an awesome snow kitty

I can't begin to tell you how much Bodie loves him

My boys brought me flowers at work to kick off our anniversary celebrations

Todd took Kayla on a date night

B got a nice couple cuts and bruise when he crashed skiing (did great after the crash though)

TJ and I spent a day at the spa to celebrate 16 years together/9 year wedding anniversary followed by lunch and then a family dinner while watching our wedding video...it was perfect!

Recents...

Kayla looked so grown up to me when I walked by...so I had to take a picture ;-)
Bodie started indoor soccer

Bodie was VERY comfortable on our Costco run

Lots of snuggles when it's cold out

Kayla made herself a little crown and wrapped her blanket around her waist to become a princess
Go Bodie and go Sharks!

Beamer LOVES getting love from the kids

Brunch after church...our favorite (and yes, it was super bright out)

My life, my loves

Indoor swimming is one of our favorite winter activities

Making yummy dessert on a Sunday evening

Silly kiddos
We had a great weekend and the kids had a wonderful Saturday at their activities. Bodie scored 2 goals at his first soccer game and his team won. McKayla's gymnastics teacher called me in after class and told me that she is moving McKayla up a level starting this week. We are super proud of the kids and even more proud of how hard they practice to achieve their goals :-)

New Years Eve 2016

My mom and I took the kids up to Snowbird on NYE this year to watch the torch parade and fireworks. It was such a beautiful site and we loved getting to see Todd for a couple minutes. From there, we went down and had dinner at my parents and then off to bed we went (kids before midnight...I MADE myself stay up so I could call Todd at midnight :-) ).

2015 was one heck of a year full of very high highs and very low lows, but we learned a lot from this year and are incredibly thankful for all of our blessings. My faith has definitely been strengthened this past year and I am really looking forward to starting fresh in 2016 with new goals and experiences. One goal is to hopefully have a more "calm" year now that we are settled in our home/neighborhood/schools/ect. I really want to focus on being together as a family and sharing new adventures with family and friends.

Wishing all of our family and friends a wonderful new year!
Waiting to watch all the fun

Love this cute little man

My phone camera did this torch parade no justice...it was so cool to watch

Watching the fireworks in the mountains was awesome...the whole mountain was glowing

Kiddos watching the fireworks with Gigi

So blessed to have these three by my side to kick off the new year

Kayla almost made it up to bed by herself ;-)

The kids were super excited to go back to Sunday school (and of course for the donuts and OJ after)

The rest of Christmas Break

I definitely got some much needed down time during the break (in between the holiday crazy) and I had so much fun just being at home with my babies and seeing my family.

The animals love the kids and loved having them home all day
The kids took a ski lesson

And then we had a family ski day with TJ and my brother

Christmas Eve/Day

There is nothing I love more than traditions...they make you feel the spirit of a holiday and bring great feelings of memories from the past. As always, we went to Christmas Eve Mass and then over to Yai Yai and Papou's for Christmas eve dinner. We set out our milk/cookies/carrots and cheese (for Santa Mouse) and headed to bed with excitement beaming. On Christmas morning, my family came over to open gifts and have Christmas breakfast. It was a nice slow morning filled with warm cups of coffee, kids smiling and laughing and lots of family time. Although Todd had to go to work, we did get the morning with him and then the kids and I went to my parent's for the rest of the day and dinner. We are incredibly grateful for all we have been blessed with this year...good things and challenges and this Christmas the focus for us was definitely on family and Christ. We hope all our family and friends had a magical holiday as well!
We went to our neighbors Christmas Eve open house before church

Love these two and love that they love church

Presents from Yai Yai
